Knitting Colourwork - Stranded, Mosaic, Intarsia

Prerequisites: This class is perfect for those who have completed the "Learn to Knit - Intermediate" class or have a basic understanding of how to knit in the round.

You will learn:

In this class, you’ll learn three exciting colorwork techniques:
• Stranded: Create beautifully intricate patterns with multiple colours.
• Mosaic: Achieve bold designs with simple stitches.
• Intarsia: Master the art of seamless blocks of colour.
Each week, we’ll explore a new technique to get you closer to tackling those colorwork patterns you’ve been eyeing. Ready to add a pop of color to your knitting skills? Let’s get started!"

Materials required:

Bring with you:

Worsted weight yarn (3 colours)

4mm or 4.5 mm needles

stitch markers

highlighters or highlighter tape 

Scissors

Darning needle

Mosaic: Triple Check Coffee Cozy by Laura Ludwig

CLASS & EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

Classes are non refundable.

Due to the very small class sizes, we are unable to offer refunds or credits if you cannot attend the class or a portion of the class. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to offer make up classes for subsequent missed classes.

In the event DIVAS is not able to run the class due to low enrolment, we will endeavour to provide 48 hours notice when possible.Any classes cancelled by us will allow you the option of a refund or transfer to a future class. Please note we cannot guarantee future classes will be the same.

LATE POLICY: The first 10 minutes of class are very very important! For this reason, we ask that you arrive on time (aim for about 5 minutes early!) If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will not be able to join the class.  

AGE RESTRICTIONS: Participants must be at least 16 years old to take a class at Yarn Divas (unless otherwise stated in the class listing).

SKILL LEVELS: When registering for your class, please note the listed skill level and required abilities to determine you have the skills to succeed in class.
